I truly came to understand the saying, “Knowing something and actually doing it are two entirely different things.”
Through life at the temple—from the way we carried ourselves to the attitude of the heart—I feel I was taught countless things that words alone cannot fully express. After the daily temple chores (samū), the temple looked especially beautiful, and I found myself naturally expressing words of gratitude from the heart. I am filled with deep appreciation for the monks who guided us and for the Sangha members I shared the experience with.
Through the good habits I learned during this temple stay, I hope to deepen my understanding of both body and mind. With joy in my heart, I will continue facing my responsibilities and walk toward fulfilling my vows.
